Obinna (Obie) is a Nigerian-trained physician with over four years of experience working in clinical and public health settings in Nigeria. He is a second year Master of Public Health (MPH) student of the Department of Health Behavior at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Before beginning the MPH program he was engaged in clinical care in rural and urban settings, and worked with several charity organizations to provide healthcare services to underserved populations. He believes in the power of public health to improve people's quality of life and is interested in contributing to evidence-based public health practice through research. He loves music and adventure and is ever ready to take on new challenges.
