Join us  Saturday, April 14 for the 2018 GO! Global Orientation on Culture + Ethics at the FedEx Global Education building!

Once you’ve registered (see Tickets button below), please select which sessions you plan to attend, including full group sessions. NOTE: You may only select one breaksout session per timeslot (one blue, one orange and one green).

These selections will help us plan for adequate space. If you chose to select a waitlisted session, we will let you know as soon as we can if there are any cancellations or "no shows" that allow for us open more spots in a full session.

Sebastian Elie-York is a sophomore at Carolina. He was born in Toronto, Canada to a Haitian mother and a Kenyan father. He grew up listening to stories of his parent’s global adventures, which inspired him to consider travel through a critical lens. During the summer of 2017, he traveled to Mpigi, Uganda, and worked with a local nonprofit to teach maternal nutrition and build kitchen gardens. During that experience, he began reflecting on the impact, sustainability and meaningfulness of serving abroad.
